Help support The Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation by purchasing tickets in our inaugural 50/50 online draw sponsored by Tatham Engineering.

All proceeds go towards providing quality palliative care services to south Georgian Bay, comprising the communities of Collingwood, Town of the Blue Mountains, Clearview Township and Wasaga Beach in Ontario, Canada.

Your participation will help our Foundation raise the $1.4 million required to help more than 500 families annually, always at no cost to the patient or their family.

A 50/50 draw is a lottery in which 50% of the ticket revenue goes to the winning ticket holder and 50% goes to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation.

  1. Purchaser must be 18 years or older to play.
  2. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions.
  3. Tickets can be purchased online at the website www.HGT5050.com
  4. Early Bird Draw 1 - Ticket Sales - Starting at 9am on September 1, 2020 to September 8, 2020 until noon. Draw to take place on September 8, 2020 at noon. And the winner will receive $500.
    Early Bird Draw 2 - Ticket Sales - Starting at 9am on September 1, 2020 to September 18, 2020 until noon. Draw to take place on September 18, 2020 at noon. And the winner will receive 2 bottles of wine from Creemore Hills Winery in a handmade South African leather wine skin.
    Main Draw - Ticket Sales - Starting at 9am on September 1, 2020 to September 30, 2020 until 8:30pm. Draw to take place on September 30, 2020 at 8:40pm. And the winner will receive 50% of the gross sales.
  5. Tickets can be purchased for $10 for 10 numbers, $20 for 40 numbers, $40 for 100 numbers. Purchases can only be made online at www.HGT5050.com with a credit card. Alternatively purchases can be made in person at Campbell House by either credit card or cheque.
  6. After buying, patrons will be given a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
  7. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold.
  8. No board member, principal officer or paid staff of the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation, nor their immediate families, are permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win.
  9. For both early bird draws, as well as the main draw, winning ticket numbers will be posted on the www.HGT5050.com website as well as on HGT’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Information about the winner is collected at the point of sale, the winner will be contacted directly.
  10. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.
  11. The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet and send it to cooksonk@hospicegeorgiantriangle.com or call 705-444-2555 ext. 7523.
  12. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that game. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
  13. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning PDF ticket stub will be kept on file (stored on our server) for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will donated to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
